One hour in advance we would have a creamy and thick pudding, although it is better to wait at least a couple of hours, so if you want to take it for breakfast it's as simple as leaving it ready the night before. Ingredients for 1 person

  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds (about 20 g), 1 tablespoon of pure cocoa powder without sugar, 1 teaspoon or more of sugar or sweetener to taste, 125 ml of milk or vegetable drink, 2-3 tablespoons of thick natural yogurt, Greek style, 1 pinch of vanilla sugar or honey, fruit to taste to serve.

How to make chia and chocolate seeds pudding with yogurt

Arrange the chia seeds in a bowl, add the cocoa powder and mix well. Cover with milk or vegetable drink and beat with some rods until no lumps. Incorporate the sugar or sweetener now if desired and stir. Wait 10 minutes, mix again and cover with plastic film. Leave in the fridge for at least 1 hour, or overnight.

Drain the yogurt liquid and beat with sugar or honey until it leaves a creamy texture. Wash the fruit we are going to use. Form the pudding by dividing the chia seed mixture into two parts, covering the bottom of a jar, glass or small cup in half. Add the yogurt layer and culminate with the rest of the chia and chocolate seeds. Crown with fruit.

You can adjust the amount of sugar or sweetener to taste, as we are accustomed to the sweet, and vary the fruit. Personally I like it more with red fruits, strawberries or banana, and a touch of grated coconut also does very well. Better serve cold.
