  • Garlic clove, chopped 1
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Honey 2 tablespoons
  • Get a pinch
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Fresh coriander chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Cooked Quinoa 1 cup
  • Chopped onion 1/4 cup
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

How to make turnip salad, quinoa and roasted sesame seeds

We start heating the oven to 180ºC. Peel the turnip and cut it into cubes, place it in a bowl and add the chopped garlic, olive oil, 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds, honey and salt.

Mix until everything is united, we place it on a baking sheet and cook it for half an hour until everything is caramelized. Remove the tray from the oven, add the soy sauce and cilantro and let it cool.

To assemble the salad, we mix the turnips already cold with the chopped lettuce, the cooked quinoa, the scallions and the rest of the roasted sesame seeds. Beat the vinegar and the sesame oil and we pour it on the salad. Mix everything until well combined and serve.
